Wow that has a lot of wear on it. Seen worse that still worked.
No harm no foul testing it though.
If it is beyond functioning,Good luck trying to find an E body column shift handle.
People that I know have complete column-shift columns and will not sell the handle by itself
The columns alone are worth $$$$$$$
