4.88 gear seems like a lot with that engine. What is your trap speed going to be with that much power? 145 or 150 mph? Those gears will have you spinning 7500+ rpm. What did the torque curve look like on the dyno? I'm guessing peak torque was in the 5500 to 6000 rpm range? HP peak was probably less than 7000 rpm wasn't it? You might need to drop the gear ratio down to 4.56 or even 4.30 to avoid spinning it too hard in the lights.
That's the same thing the dyno owner and engine builder said. My plan is to more then likely take some gear out of it.
Andy, your pretty close peak torque was 5800 and peak hp 7200.
