I suppose how much you tried to lift the rear of the car to clear tires could have a huge effect on how well the shocks or the holes they were mounted in would last. At the gas station I worked at in the early 70s, we had a guy that insisted we put 145 psi in his 150 lbs max pressure Hi-Jackers. He didn't get very long life out of either the shocks, or the mounting points (didn't much help the tires or rear quarters either). I ran mine at around 80 psi, I didn't have any issues with my rust buckets. Gene
you hit the nail on the head Gene.i have had HyJackers on my mopars since 1969 and never a problem.we don't have rust buckets here in central IL. Jerry
