Just going over my parts list for the roller cam conversion and I have been researching distributor drive gears with mixed reviews.
Are there any negatives with either gear ? This is mainly a street car with about 1500 miles a year and maybe a dozen passes down the track. I plan on adding a collar on the distributor shaft while it's out. There seems to be an issue(according to the manufacturer) when running a high volume or high pressure pump.
Now most engines with a roller cam run one or the other style pump shruggy So that just sounds like a CYA from the company.

Any new information out there?

Thanks
