Does "ported Eddies" mean MW-sized Performer RPMs? Or are they still standard port (in which case a '337 wouldn't work)?
OP, if your using CNC ported Eddy RPM with the stock size 440 intake gaskets I would and do use the Eddy Performer RPM intake on a lot of builds like yours with those heads along with a 950 or 1000 HP Holley 4150 carbs As far as the drop base air cleaner clearing your hood I'm thinking they will
If his heads have been opened up to MW size, somebody (NOT ME!) has just listed an Indy 440-2D intake that looks to have been CNC'd on the port exits to MW, too.
