OP, if your using CNC ported Eddy RPM with the stock size 440 intake gaskets I would and do use the Eddy Performer RPM intake on a lot of builds like yours with those heads along with a 950 or 1000 HP Holley 4150 carbs up
As far as the drop base air cleaner clearing your hood I'm thinking they will luck shruggy
