PurpleBeeper,the silver box that your describing is the radio cross-over,only used on AM-8track cars and is mounted on top of the glove box liner.

This relay is also mounted on top of the glove box liner.This is not part of the AO1 lite pkg,it is a separate option and kind of rare in a B-Body.It uses a serarate harness that I don't see in any of the pictures that are posted.


My car had this on it. But it was removed prior to my acquiring the car. I was told the relay mounts on the driver's side behind the kick-panel. But on the other hand, there is a ground wire attached to my relay to ground the relay if it is not attached to a metal surface. ????
