3 years ago my plan was to get my car alkalin dipped to remove all the paint,rust etc at the time the cost was $1400 now that I am ready to have it done the price has jumed to $2400. Couple that with wanting to e-coat and I would be lookin outside my budget at about 5k for the services.

My plan now is to plastic bead blast the shell and my body guy suggested self etching primer. I can find some info on this site and other but looking for more .
If I'm looking to do a complete shell ( Challenger) how much primer will it take? Whats the cost? Pros? Cons? Whats the best self etching primer? Thanks for any input.
