Clean head and block surfaces with brake cleaner or the like to get rid of any contaminents. Let the gasket surfaces do their work.
Use the 1121G gaskets dry.
95 ft-lb with engine oil. Factory sequence. I know you'll go up in steps. Make the last step big enough that your breakaway torque isn't the final value you're shooting for.
Funny that for 318s the rec torque is 85 with the same block and basic head design.
