The short answer is there isn't a hp difference between plug wires unless wires are d3fective somehow. I guess if they are solid core and the RFI is interfering with the ignition electronics, then yes.

I can tell you this is not true. I have done dozens of A B A tests on brand new spark plug wires and there is one brand of spark plug wires mention earlier in this thread that ALWAYS picks up hp when i replace them with my spare set of firecore wires. (I bought, was not given)
As far as the OP, I don't think you can go wrong with either choice.
FYI I run firecore on my race car.
