I've seen that mode of failure many times over the years. Nine-inchers love to do that.





Racers can break ANYTHING. Back when my Daytona was running 8.60's I lite both stage lights at Norwalk, floored it, and left go of the trans-brake button. The 9 inch rearend broke and never even moved out of the stage beems. I'm gonna say I had about 1100 runs on those gears and they were in the car when I bought it.
