I spotted a Milodon segment (gears and outer housing) # 21815 that has a built in second entry, to allow dual line pickup without having to be taller, and i think it will work with my current cover. Anybody use it?
That's a great pump but if you are using the dual line system now with the spacer you will have to buy a midlength oil drive. Milodon 21523 if you are using a bronze gear.
The KB pump has 1-1/2 rotors but it uses external filter.
I have had one of the aluminum Milodon pumps bind up on me when installed. Can't remember if it was that one or the billlet one. When you are torquing on the oil pump have somebody turning the oil pump with the primer tool and make sure it doesn't start binding on you as you torque it down.
