So my daughter and I have some decisions to make for this upcoming season. The toughest choice is whether to attempt a run at another track championship at Numidia or chase Wallys in the Lucas Oil series in Div 1. She’s been racing 4 years now, with 2 left in the Jr league. We are burned out with the whole Bristol thing; it’s really a clown show now. She’s a dang good racer, with 1 track championship, 1 runner up for track championship, 28 “career” wins as well as 10K money race in her pocket so she’s a real contender for the Lucas series. So if you were me do you choose to go back to back and chase the points at Numidia or reach for the gold ring and take a run at the Lucas series?

What are some of the pitfalls chasing series races vs being a “home body” and chasing points?
