I'm not a body man. Can you go into a little more detail for me please? Should the paint supplier have the factory A5 color code on file?

I looked at the test piece and it wasn't right. He had matched the test piece to one of the fender louvers that he believed to be origonal paint. It was not. The car had been painted a few times before. We found some origonal paint on the inside of the doors but he wasn't sure the metal flake looked right. He thought that since it was just "overspray" that the metal flake looked heavier than it really was. He plans on lightning up the color a bit and adding a little more metal flake. He'll mail the samles to me to decide which one I want.
