I've been using SS springs for over 50 years, still use them. The big thing is that they extend enough.....you need at least 24". I use Comp Engineering 3 way adjustables set at 50/50. Priced right, and work good. The thing the old Imperial shocks had going for them is that they had the long extension. The new MP and other aftermarket shocks have that handled.
