cab, the pickup shocks have the same upper and lower mounts as the B & C body, and imperial shocks, and are a tad shorter than the imperial shocks. those are the LS39 upper, which is a sleeve for a 1/2" bolt, and an L2 lower, which is the rubber bushing only that fits the 11/16" lower plate stud. the B & C shock is 13.750 collapsed, 22.875 extended, while the pickup shock is 14.750 collapsed, 24.375 extended. the imperial shock for 1970-73 [and are the only years that are longer than the B & C body] is 15.600 collapsed, and 26.320 extended. this from my monroe master catalog. hope this can help someone decide something for their application. the pickup shocks may have a stiffer valving due to load hauling, but that would depend, i suppose, on the shock manufacturer.
