The old Torker 383 is a decent intake that you can usually find used very cheap. I paid $75 for mine. Both the 383 and 440 Torkers pull strongly in the midrange. It is not a good choice if you are running a low stall torque converter. The Holley SD is a great intake but is also soft on the low end. Unless you are using a 3500 stall converter, one of the dual planes would be better. My vote for a mild (whatever that is)383, Performer RPM.
