The old Torker 383 is a decent intake that you can usually find used very cheap. I paid $75 for mine. Both the 383 and 440 Torkers pull strongly in the midrange. It is not a good choice if you are running a low stall torque converter. The Holley SD is a great intake but is also soft on the low end. Unless you are using a 3500 stall converter, one of the dual planes would be better. I used the 383 Torker on mine, 2" carb spacer and a 3310, still have it. Get that carb and timing right and it will work fine. DP4B or stock 68-69 if totally street and no gear.
