I installed 1/2” hardline on my car last year. I just kept it inside the frame rail and subframe connector all the way forward, pretty much a straight shot. Originally I wanted to follow the stock line location, but it just made more sense to me to go in a straight line.
Did you have any issues with exhaust temps heating the fuel? Any pics would be great.

I have not had any issues with fuel temps that I’m aware of. It is on the inside of the frame rail as it enters the engine bay towards the mechanical pump. That’s where it’s closest to the headers, I can’t really tell you right now how close it is because my engine is currently torn apart and the headers are out. I don’t remember being concerned about it when I routed it though.
At the rear, my picture would look nearly identical to whitedarts above.
