Braid + AN are overkill w/r/t pressure - there isn't any to speak of (compared to brake lines, oil filter/cooler, power steering, even ATF cooler).
Difficult to assemble on a bench (keep Band-Aids and peroxide handy), impossible to repair under the car.
$$$$$.
Steel lines will last 30 years if you keep them dry.

How far away do the fuel lines need to be away from the exhaust?
Never above, several inches lateral or you'll vapor lock.
