I fired up my race engine in the Dart for the first time this year. It was a cold February, but it got over 50 degrees today, so I fired it up after work. It felt good to see it go without a hitch. The only change from last year was I freshened the transmission and converter.

No changes, yet. Just fired it up to circulate the oil, warm up everything and put the race oil in for the upcoming season. The local track opens for testing Mar 7 (weather permitting), and the regular bracket races start the first weekend in April.

Now I will take the carburetor setup off and put this Ron's Flying Toilet injection system on for this year. I plan to test with methanol (race alky) for March. At some point when summer grade E85 is available, I plan to recalibrate the system for E85.
