On my Charger, I used a 136 Amp Denso from a Ram Truck that I got fairly cheap, but had to convert to V-Belt, and is too thick to mount in stock location. The Charger is more race than street car, so I relocated the alternator to about where a stock A/C unit would be. This gives better belt contact with the pulley too.

The Coronet has a serpentine belt conversion (Billet Specialties) with the 140 Amp, Power Master brand, one-wire alternator. It works fine.
