To measure the total height of the converter place it drive hub down on a flat counter and measure to the starter ring from the counter and then to the bolt pads to the starter rind and add them to get you 5.475" +/- as in the page listed.Use a flat tool to lay across the pilot and measure down to the bolt tab and that is the pilot height.There are other ways to measure this also.
