Starting to gather stuff for a low budget 5.7 build


How much power will an early 5.7 block hold? I've been hearing 1200whp with a short fill. I'd like to hear of other people with successful high HP 5.7 based builds.




Also, will the bottom of the bores need clearanced with a H beam rod?





Also, as far as coils are the 09+ coils different connector wise then the early ones?
