I had wondered if there were any cars still around capable of running with the SO guys (Oklahoma or NOLA) for some time now. I know that 25-30 yrs. ago there were some seriously bad-actor street cars running for big dollars, usually on Friday or Saturday night. Way above my pay-grade but I attended a few of them as a spectator.
Maybe they are still around and just don't want to associate with the SO crowd. I can only hope so as that was most certainly the weakest turn-out I have ever seen. The cars I remember from back then would have had no trouble with that group.
