Small blocks can be tough Greg. When properly set up, even the small block Chevy rockers are a bit too long. The 1.45" rockers are even longer yet. 1.52" is the standard big block rocker length, which is also too long when properly set up. I know where I can get a new, shorter rocker, but I haven't tried them yet.

I've used a stainless SBC roller rocker for most street Magnum builds, with a two piece guide plate tack welded together. It will have the sweep biased toward the exhaust side when the pushrod is the right length, but not too terribly.
