Before I put mine together I had SBC rockers and found that the Buick guide plates where the closest, holes about .060 too wide apart. I was going to cut in half then tig en back together. Would have to use the cm pushrods too. They make a stud that's 5/16 bottom and 3/8 top. Then I got the Mopar rocker kit at blow out price and used those instead. If I do another engine I'll use the SBC ones.
Just read the last post and now that I think about it mine are ford rockers, been 13 years, brain fade.
