I started out with 14" wheels with 225/60r14's up front and 245/60r14's (largest for a 14") on the rear of my 70 Challenger. I then swapped out the 14's for a set of 15" wheels with the P235's up front and the P255 on the rear (widest on a 7" wheel). I am now running P245/60R15 on 7" up front and P275/60R15 on 8" wheel on the rear.

After switching sizes, I now think that the 14's are way too small, and the P235 looks small up front. I still like the look of the P255 on the rear. But I now love the look of the 275 on the rear of a Challenger.

Best? I don't know about best, but I like to put as much tire under the car without modifications as I can. To each its own.
