Viking, QA1 and Koni all make very good, adjustable, non-coil-over shocks that bolt in for OEM applications. You don't need to go through the added work & expense of modifying and strengthening your front end to adapt a coil-over shock, unless you really want to.

The adjustability and tuning for different tracks & conditions can come in handy for just about any ET range. But naturally, the more HP you make, the more helpful an easily adjustable shock can be.



So........Not too many advantages going coil over.....except more room under

Less weight, more spring rate choices, more room for headers. So weight less and make more hp, sounds like a win-win to me.
