I have an all original unrestored '68 Satellite with 76k original miles. The original owner was a stickler for keeping the car mechanically tuned, so various parts were replaced over the years. I am slowly trying to put the car back how it originally was. My question is... on a '68 Satellite with a 273ci what is the correct style fuel filter that would have come on the car? I see a plastic date coded one and the metal date faded one as well.
