I tried to have an appliance DD, it just doesn't work for me. I spend way too much time in it to have something completely boring.

I am driving a 2015 GTI, my first new car, heck, my first car that was built after 96...luckily I am driving for work, so the payment is largely subsidized by my mileage reimbursement. It is not a rocketship, but should run low 14's and I've done a few trackdays at the local road course. My girlfriend makes fun of my "teenager's car", but it is fun to drive.

Part of me really likes the raw-ness of the old car, manual everything, no AC, no overdrive, mildly obnoxious.

But there is something to be said for similar performance with all the creature comforts. That SRT should run what the 67 runs on motor, then you drive home with the AC and cruise control.

That 67 is a nice ride though...
