Thanks everyone for your help on this topic. I ordered one today. It's an " AIRTEX Part #4845 - for 440 w/High Performance Engine". And looks to be a good match to the stock one.

One last simple question .. as I've never replaced a fuel pump on this car before .. What is the best approach to doing this? Should I take out the alternator and try to do this from above? Or is this something that I'll need to work on from below (not a lot of room there so just wanted to check first before tearing things apart).

Also, about that hex bolt for the push rod access -- Will I always need to remove that when I remove the fuel pump or only if the push rod won't go back in? It looks like the vapor separator may need to come off as well to get to that bolt??

Thanks again for any tips/steps on this process for a first timer !
