Thanks everyone for your help on this... I've found a Carter stock replacement at Summit (M4589) that is rated at 5.5 to 6.5 psi (and 120 gph). This sounds like it will be in the right range for my stock 440-6 setup, right?

An additional question though - On my existing fuel pump (which now appears to be an aftermarket Carter??) there is a fitting adapter and short steel line from the "OUT" side of the fuel pump leading up to the vapor separator unit. Was this how these were configured from the factory or did someone add this on later?

The new Carter I see at Summit only has two nipple type hose outlets... In that case, I would just need to run a rubber hose directly from the pump to the vapor separator, right?

Thanks again all for the help and suggestions!
