Uh, John & Barry - I'm fully aware there's no year on fender tag SPD, I was referring to the combination of SPD, VIN sequence, and OP statement of being a '66. Same deal with the Poly "saying" 1966, meaning in '67 a US car would not have a Poly 318. I guess I should have been more specific and not spoken in shorthand, haha. (By "shorthand" I mean operating on the assumption that my meaning would be understood without me being pedantic.)
