I ended up repairing the broken tab with devcon 4 ton plastic epoxy. Besides the broken off tab, I found 1 that was cracked, so I glued that one as well.

I cleaned the switch assembly by putting it in a zip lock baggie with white vinegar, threw that in the ultrasonic cleaner for about 90 minutes and it came out all clean and shiney.

THe tabs in the die cast housing that held the switch in broke off, so I glued it back together with the devcon. I used it sparingly, just 4 globs. So It will be easier to remove next time it needs repair.

Thanks for all the help!
