Hi all. I'm about to install some bearings and reinstall my axles. When I bought my supplies I forgot to order the foam gaskets. Can I make the from something else. If so, what?

Also what should I use to lube the shafts as I press on the bearings and the collar? Wheel bearings grease? Trans fluid? shruggy
