whats the point of protecting the brake line on just the firewall becase it runs over the centerline of the crank flywheel or converter you could still knock the master cylinder off the fire wall if somthing really comes unglued parts dont just go strait up and down is a 365 degree thing if it comes un-glued if the brake line runs on top or inside edge of the frame rail rods could take it out I would think more protection would be required to accomplish much
