55 mph is the maximum speed for any vehicle or vehicle combination that weighs over 8,000 lbs.
I had no idea Ohio had this rule.
Pretty sure that is no longer correct. Ohio did limit the speed based on weight a few yrs back but the law was changed. Now semi's, cars and mortorcycles have the same posted speed on the interstates.
