I'm not sure they are making big money from the show itself. I think the smarter ones are making some coin from the event fees and from selling the baubles and trinkets to the Minions. It's been mentioned that some of the guys get $5K to show up at track events and make some exhibition runs and sell 300-500 t-shirts at $20 each. If that's true - good for them. I'd ride that pony into the dirt if it was offered to me, too. As to the longevity of the show - let's just say the new has worn off and let's see where the next generation of cars - the "pro-mods" - takes it.
