I should also note that the truck has a "propeller" sound when driving. I assumed this was the cv axle on the right front because the boot is split and flinging grease around. Now I'm wondering if it isn't coming from the driveline u-joints maybe being out of alignment due to this clearance issue. U-joints are tight though, no slop.

PS I hope this is all making sense...I'm a little medicated right now and the g/f says I get all when I take my pain pills.
