common problem? can't say I've ever heard of that, but anything's possible. Seems it would have to be bent pretty dang bad for that to occur. At this point I'd venture to guess the rotor may not have been seated all the way. I'd try another.... and post up some picts of the car. I have a soft spot for Miradas
