The water pump does not pull fluid it pushes coolant thru the motor. It will not disrupt the cooling system, you'll just add some capacity.

the area with the pipe fitting, is located BEHIND the impeller, (same as the inlet hose)
Wouldn't it be lower pressure? than at the outlet> upper hose
