That's my guess anyway.

I have my car in an unheated garage and when temperatures start to rise after winter I regularly check if everything is still dry, engine is the first place to check.


My garage never exceeds 55% RH.


That's too damp IMO. I put a dehumidifier in mine to keep it at 35% or less.
