Looking for rods for 383. Did not know until today the rods in B engines were shorter than the RB stuff. Know how to get bushed rods for those engines but want some for a 383. I am attempting to build a high MPG 383 for my dads all original 69 Fury convertable. I can make a lot of changes internally but do not want to change appearance of engine.

Also, is it necessary to cut the seats out and replace with hardened seats? This is a limited use auto but see's a couple hundred miles each way to Carlile, PA every year.
