Right on. The guy had nice taste in vintage luxury, that's for sure. I didn't realize they were negotiating on price. I think they started selling them off in December, those seemed to be going for fixed prices until the fleet dwindled.
On my '67 I never saw where the linkage rod attached to, but I definitely remember the "auto pilot" control unit on the driver's inner fender with an adjuster and a long rod that went down towards where the pedal assembly was. I still have the FSM for it and they don't show the pedal end, just the end by the control unit.
