From what I've read it's an 8" ring gear and has zero aftermarket, a limited slip of sorts would be nice (torsen diffs look interesting). This winter here wasn't bad for snow at all but certain years are bad and having all 4 wheels being able to dig would be a nice peice of mind. I'm not terribly interested in a straight axle swap because it's not a trail rig at all. I know the Raptors use an 8.8" diff in the front with a limited slip, one could probably be adapted with out a crazy amount of work (as compared to a SAS).
I know you can get Dana 60 rear center section for LX cars, would be cool if someone would make a Dana 44 diff section for the front ends of 03 up Ram 1500's
