Will I found out that the suregrip unit that I posted would not work. What would be the easiest and cheapest way to get a suregrip in my truck? I cant find anything local as far as complete rears. Although I did find a rear out of a 95 Dakota 8.25 rear with a 3.55 suregrip. Would that work, the insides? It has 3.55 gears. I would like to find a complete rear that I could just bolt in. But not having any luck. If I get a suregrip and some gears I will have to have a shop swap that and set it up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you can use a rear axle from a mid 70s c-body car. it is correct width for the trucks but would need spring perch relocated.

some of the Daks share the same 43" perch centers and early DAks have the 5 on 4.5 wbp BUT.. axles are a little narrower. (DAKS use a B-body 8 3/4 and mini tubs)

I have a A-body 8 3/4 bolted in my 88 truck tucking 12" rims 29x15x15 M/Ts

and a B-body axle should only be a little narrower than stock with truck axle.

truck and c-body 8 3/4 housing is 59" flange to flange.

94 jeep cherrokee shares the same 43" perch centers and will bolt in the truck but will need tubb work with a 10" - 12" rim at least.

just depends on what you can find and willing to do.
