An Alum driveshaft safety loop IMO ranks right up there with an Alum roll bar. Can be done, I sure would not do it, and likely not legal anywhere. Save weight with an alum DS first if that is the objective, which would give an Alum safety loop a fighting chance.

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.
