Looks like you are correct Jason, the advance is a 1971. I wonder if the number is still on the Advance.

I asked in an earlier post why the change in 1970. How much money did Chrysler spend on the second distributor after only having this one in production for 6 months. Maybe they used a 440 DP from 1969 and just changed the advance and then got time to make one for 1970 only. I have an NOS early distributor for a 70 440-6 Man. I have one other I took out of a 1970 440 in the Seventies that I swamped in an aftermarket for the guy. I will see if I can find it and just what one of the 1970 440-6 distributors it is.
