I’m toying with the idea of moving to electronic fuel injection on my '71 Cuda.

Has anyone on here any experience and success using EFI on a RB? (I'll be putting in on my 540" Frankenstein motor (4.25 stroke, 7.100 rod, 4.5" bore, Indy Intake and 440-1 heads)

I like the idea that the systems are self-learning and can optimize the fuel curve for the motor from Idle to WOT.

But I don’t know a whole lot about them, hopefully once you get it somewhat tuned you can tell it to stop “learning/adjusting” for a given day so it will run consistently. And I’m not sure if anyone has had any success running fuel injection on the throttle stop (I’m planning on doing some 10.90 racing this year)

Also need to make sure they can work with alcohol (the injectors, pumps and the fuel management system)

It would be cool too to be able to switch over to gas or E85 at any time. (or have a separate fuel cell to start/warm it up and after the races to get all the alcohol out)

(I don't know this for a fact but I thought I heard on Drag Week that Larson's truck was using both Alcohol for racing and then switching over to gas for the street and he didn't have to do much more than change the fuel curve set up and switch the fuel supply source and the computer adjusted the fuel curve and injectors)

Who's EFI management system should I consider?

What should I consider as I contemplate this move?
