I'm in need of a aluminum radiator for my Duster. I see a lot of them on the market. Before I wade through the ads, and listen to the radiator builders about their products, I thought I'd ask here first to see what you all thought about the radiators you've used in the past. What you might suggest is best for my needs.
What I need/want it to handle:
I've got a 416 stroker full roller motor.
I need it to handle close to 600 horse.
I want it to be as close to stock dimensions as possible.
I want it to direct bolt up into my '71 Duster radiator support (no I do not want to cut the radiator support any where).
Be able to use my stock shroud.
I will be using a stock fan. Therefore the stock shroud (when bolted on) must be in the same location as a stock radiator would have it.
Upper (driver side), and lower (pass side) hose location in the correct placement.
Take my automatic transmission cooling lines in the stock location/stock fittings.
Before you include the Champion radiator in your suggestions, they do not fit my criteria. Yes, I have tried them! Yes, I have one for sale if interested.
What have you used, how do you like it?
If you wish to include any contact info: duster@surewest.net
Thank you in advance for any help.
